"Il faut empêcher l'armée de prendre
le pouvoir en Israël.

Le Forum international pour la paix condamne fermement l’agression brutale, irrationnelle et inacceptable de l’armée israélienne.

L’emploi de la force ne sera jamais le moyen de construire la paix. Au moment où des négociations reprennent, les extrémistes pro-Hamas et l’armée israélienne provoquent une crise qui risque d’enflammer la région, d’attiser la haine et de compromettre les chances, si fragiles, de succès de ces négociations. Si le droit d’Israël à la sécurité ne doit en aucun cas être remis en cause, l’attaque de bateaux arborant un pavillon blanc dans les eaux internationales est une violation inacceptable des principes de base du droit international.

La communauté internationale doit intervenir d’urgence d’urgence afin de mettre un terme au cycle de la violence et d’imposer un règlement pacifique du conflit israélo palestinien."

Please find the press release issued by M. Ofer Bronchtein today about last night's events:


“We must prevent the army from seizing power in Israel”

The International Forum for Peace strongly condemns the brutal, irrational and unacceptable attack of the Israel Defense Forces.

Using force will never be a way to build peace. At the very moment when negotiations resume, the pro-Hamas extremists and the IDF provoke a crisis that might inflame the region, stir up hatred and endanger the already fragile chances that these negotiations could be a success. If Israel’s right to security should never be call into question, the attack of boats flying a white flag in international waters is an unacceptable violation of the basis of international law.

The international community must intervene immediately to put an end to the violence cycle and impose a pacific settlement of the Israeli-palestinian conflict.”
